15CrMo is a low-alloy heat-resistant steel with a pearlite structure. It offers high thermal strength and excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 500-550°C. It also possesses good mechanical properties, machinability, and cold strain plasticity. Due to its alloy content, it has a strong hardening tendency and fair weldability. It is primarily used for manufacturing seamless steel pipes, sheet metal, and critical components in high-temperature environments such as boiler superheaters.
