321 SS Stainless Steel Plates
Grade 321 stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized austenitic chromium-nickel steel, essentially an improved version of 304. The addition of titanium prevents intergranular corrosion caused by chromium carbide precipitation during welding or high-temperature exposure. It offers excellent resistance to oxidation and retains strength at temperatures up to 900°C (1650°F), making it ideal for applications where 304 would suffer from sensitization.
