ASTM A537 Class 1 normalized pressure vessel steel plate
ASTM A537 Class 1 is a normalized, heat-treated carbon-manganese-silicon steel plate designed for pressure vessel service. It offers higher yield and tensile strength compared to standard ASTM A516 grades. The material is killed steel with fine austenitic grain size. It is ideal for use in pressurized service in boilers and pressure vessels where toughness and strength are required.
