ASTM A612 steel plate
ASTM A612 is a specification for killed carbon-manganese-silicon steel plates intended for welded pressure vessels in service at moderate and lower temperatures. The steel is killed and conforms to specified fine austenitic grain size requirements. Plates are normally supplied in the as-rolled condition. It is widely used in the oil, petrochemical, and gas production industries.
