ASME SA387 Grade 22 Class 1 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate primarily intended for welded boiler and pressure vessels designed for elevated temperature service. It offers excellent high-temperature strength and resistance to hydrogen attack and corrosion. The material is typically supplied in normalized, normalized and tempered, or quenched and tempered conditions.
