ASME SA387 GR.22 CL2 steel for boilers and pressure vessels
ASME SA387 Grade 22 Class 2 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate primarily intended for welded boiler and pressure vessels designed for elevated temperature service. It contains approximately 2.25% Chromium and 1% Molybdenum, offering excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and high tensile strength at elevated temperatures (up to 600°C). It features good weldability and is widely used in petrochemical, power generation, and pressure vessel industries.
