ASME SA553 Type I Steel Plate
ASME SA553 Type I is a Nickel-Manganese steel plate specifically designed for low-temperature service. It contains approximately 8-9% Nickel, providing excellent toughness at cryogenic temperatures. The material requires Quenching and Tempering (QT) heat treatment to achieve the required mechanical properties. It is widely used in the fabrication of high-temperature and cryogenic pressure vessels.
