ASTM A871 High‑Strength Low‑Alloy Weathering Steel
ASTM A871 is a standard specification for high-strength low-alloy structural steel plates with atmospheric corrosion resistance. Available in Grades 60 and 65, these plates are designed for use in tubular structures and poles. They can be supplied in as-rolled, normalized, or quenched and tempered conditions. The steel offers excellent weathering properties due to the addition of copper, chromium, and nickel.
