SECC Electro‑Galvanized Steel Sheet
SECC is an electroplated galvanized steel sheet produced by electrolysis. It features a uniform, dense, and well-bonded zinc coating that offers good corrosion resistance in dry and humid environments. While the coating is thinner than hot-dip galvanizing, SECC provides excellent processability, surface quality, and paint adhesion, making it ideal for automotive, appliance, and electronic applications. The zinc layer protects the steel matrix through barrier protection and cathodic protection if damaged.
