Alloy 254 Super Austenitic Stainless Steel
Alloy 254 (UNS S31254) is a super austenitic stainless steel containing high levels of molybdenum, chromium, and nitrogen. It offers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments. With tensile strength nearly twice that of standard 300-series stainless steels, it is ideal for demanding applications such as seawater handling, chemical processing, and pulp bleaching.
