SS330 is an austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy steel coil/sheet. It offers excellent resistance to carburization and oxidation at temperatures up to 1200°C (2200°F) combined with high strength. The alloy remains fully austenitic at all temperatures and is not subject to embrittlement from sigma formation. It is extensively used in high-temperature environments requiring resistance to thermal cycling and carburization, such as industrial heating furnaces, as well as in automotive parts, chassis, seat parts, building components, and furniture.
