Stainless Steel 310 Plate

Stainless steel 310 is an austenitic heat-resistant alloy with high chromium (25%) and nickel (20%) content. It offers phenomenal resistance to oxidation under mildly cyclic conditions up to 2000°F (1093°C). It retains superior room temperature strength compared to common austenitic alloys like Type 304. It exhibits excellent toughness at cryogenic temperatures (-450°F) and has low magnetic permeability. Grade 310S is a lower carbon version less prone to embrittlement. It is widely used in moderately carburizing atmospheres and reducing sulfur environments containing H2S.
